I can remember when teams that wore blue looked gutted that they lost games and didn't joke about as we are getting beat 2-0.

Maybe the sport really is changing.

Ederson was in the tunnel laughing hugging and shaking the Spurs players' hands before the kick off, then Foden was warming up laughing and joking with the Spurs subs,

You get the Feeling that far too many players at City are on easy street and are happy not starting and some players are even coasting games (Haaland)

I agree, I've seen countless times players warming up on the touchline (whilst City are losing), laughing with each other - Foden today for example - and going through the motions with some exercises. Camera pans to bench and often see squad players joking around having 'bantz'. Gets my goat to see that, I'd be pissed off at losing and it gives off the wrong signals to everyone, opposition included. You often hear 'he likes to play with a smile on his face', fine if you're winning but when the chips are down it's not ok.

Foden really fucked me off today doing that.

We had a far better team than Spurs but Frank is more progressive and JG has managed City's decline for the past 2 years without any intention of making changes.

Bernardo and Doku kept losing the ball ? Cherki was playing far too deep to hurt Spurs and Marmoush looked unfit or carrying a knock

But our 5 midfield players González Bobb Reijnders Marmoush Cherki looked like they had never played together before or understood the roles Pep wanted, its was a very much patched up feel to it

Maybe that's a good lesson for him to learn today.. Dias and Stones were too slow in the buildup and Spurs, yes Spurs were causing all sorts of problems.

Viana obviously thinks we need to get younger.. which is why he got Khusanov, Reis and Bah but Pep wants to go with "what we have". It's basically PSG where they thought they could rely on old greats.

Just a matter of time till Pep realizes the old guard is the problem. But how long will give them is anyone's guess.

Too many missed opportunities in front of goal. Trafford and Lewis together in defence is a liability. No ball went long despite Spurs pressing.

Ball did go long to no avail cos traffords kicking was abysmal. Also no point going long though cos haaland was 30 yards from our goal most of the game. Strange tactics

I don't mind Doku so this isn't a criticism of him.

But when he plays we tend to play exclusively through him.

The benefit of Doku is that he is double or triple teams regularly. So that must leave other players open. But we are very predictable playing through the left over and over again we don't get that benefit.

We need to mix it up more.
