Spurs (H) Post Match Thread

Never been so wrong about 2 players - Rodri and Cancelo. Thought Rodri was too slow, clumsy for the prem - how wrong was I, he is morphing into Sergio Busquets. Seems to have gained a bit of pace too. And Cancelo in this role with the freedom to come inside is thriving. I wasn't expecting such a comfortable win.
Nowt better than players proving fans wrong, long may it continue! :)

Examples of how Pep improves players - Zinchenko looking much improved too - prefer him to Mendy who cost £50 million

Said in the match day thread that we were a bit sloppy in the 1st half and had a couple more gears.

Well, we went up 1 gear and saw them off with ease.

Excellent to take 6 points from two tough fixtures.

Pep Guardiola on Ederson taking penalties: "If he can play a pass from 70 yards, he can shoot from 12. His quality of the shot is good. I know him. Penalties are different. I need to think. I'm so delighted Rodri. But the penalty wasn't good.

Pep Guardiola on Ilkay Gundogan's groin problem: "We will see tomorrow. He told me it was tight, intelligent to see
I’ve got a slightly tight groin after that tbh ;-)

This time last year people were criticising Gundo, Cancelo, Rodri, Stones, Bernie and Zin. Twelve months on and what a transformation. Apart from the individual skill we are currently playing like well oiled machine that is at times heaven to watch.
Well done boys, let's keep it going !
