Spurs (H) - Post-Match Thread

Just constantly gave it away in midfield leaving defence exposed
Our whole game plan only works if we retain the ball, which is why those calling Grealish for not doing anything are fuckin clueless, he gets it under and finds a blue shirt, it’s the most important thing we do as our high line is fucked otherwise

Not for long.. I think when you are out almost out of sight and then let the chasers have it in their own hands it will unlikely end well.

We’re too good to not win it, call that arrogance whatever, we’ve had an off day. Wouldn’t be City if we did otherwise.

Good to know the beyond overwhelming claims from the football media of how the “title race is done” weeks ago, whilst Pep kept saying ‘No, no, no” have shown how ridiculous and hyperbolic too much of the analysis is when it comes to City one way or the other.

Also, Spurs ALWAYS show up against us.

Our own podcasts and fans were also deluded after the last match where we were also FORTUNATE to not concede in similar ways we did today where warning signs were present.

Combine that with Spurs desperate, at rock bottom AGAIN, Kane with a point to prove and many of their players being slagged off and so did the likelihood of complacency from us come at a higher risk.

And then…voila…there you have it

Walker was fucking atrocious for the 2nd and 3rd goals. For the 2nd all he has to do is give Dias (who was no better) a shout and for the 3rd he just gave them the fucking ball back.
And then didn't defend the cross coming in and watched Kane score.

We are still ahead and it’s all in our hands to win. Very poor individual performances from our team. Rodri, Dias, Laporte, Bernardo, Foden all really poor. Only Gundogan and Sterling were acceptable. And KDB and Walker gave their all and they really wanted to win it. Cancelo was just awful. He shouldn’t play again until he practices his defense at least 20h a week
