Its fucking mind boggling isn't it. I don't even feel like Im the same species as some of these fuckers walking round outside Buckingham Palace. Its just absolutely bizarre to me, I don't get the mentality of these people to worship Royals they have never met who don't even know they exist at best and actively view them as scum at worst.

Most respect the Queen herself but 12 days+ of enforced misery on the country is absolutely fucking crazy, especially when half the country fucking despises the rest of the Royals.
I always apply reverse psychology when jobsworths over react like right now

Really they want people to hate on Royalty,

A bit like the Jobsworths in the Council that Ban Christmas lights, and Nativities, at Christmas using the excuse it offends minorities. Yet in my whole life i have never once met a Muslim who had a problem.

jobsworths who want to wind people up to hate.

Instead of just letting people mourn in their own way.

They make it that people are counting down the Days, and offering to go get a Shovel. And it shouldn't be like that.

It should be a celebration of HRH life instead of a Stalin type enforced mourning.

Its an absolute joke of a decison.

Im in the retail sector and just recieved an email saying if i dont turn up for work I will be marked down as unauthorised absence/unpaid.
That's only because you haven't explained why you would be missing work. Just tell them it's down to the seismic event, they'll understand.

Seems silly to me this, and I sympathize with all the small business people who rely on games going ahead for their income..
Don't know what this achieves but a certain amount of anger.

The me me me brigade are out in force again. Oooh it’s inconvenient for me, oooh I’ll have to rearrange my plans , oooh it’s all so unfair.

Show some respect and stop being so utterly self centred.

Again, the irony of this seems to be lost on people who expect others not to complain about being inconvenienced when sections of the country come to a stand still because a woman died.

Absolute lunacy. I am all for following tradition and honouring her majesty, but cancellation of games was not the way to go.

Would much rather have had hundreds of games taking place with both sets of fans singing God save the Queen / King.

Personally was really looking forward to cheering on city and celebrating something, now I'll be sat at home doing f all most probably, unless I can persuade the kids to come for a walk somewhere, like half the rest of the population.

The fa and premier league should compensate every match ticket and every journey that cannot be revalidated for the rearranged game, out of their own pockets.

Not me , my thoughts are with Charles, just lost his Mom.

He is just one selfless fellah. And Camillia of course
