Who has?

Makes very little sense your post.

I would have thought that the top royalists would have planned for something that could be positive for British society. They surely knew this would happen someday soon.

(or maybe those top royalists are out of touch with the common man for some strange reason?)

I don't see anyone in control of this. That is the problem. The palace have left it wide open for people to do as they want but in the absence of anyone looking to keep a lid on it the nation is just grinding itself to a halt.

Conte will be happy with this as we had an extra 24 hours to recover.
Pros and Cons. despite how good Akanji and Gomez were the other night… would you have fancied a makeshift defence against Spurs forward line?

looks like i will be binging on Netflix/Amazon/Disney Box sets for the next 10 days minimum.

They go too far with it all.

There are many, many people that aren’t just merely “inconvenienced” by this moronic decision. This brings more financial hardship to those that rely upon football matches for their income, at a time when they are already stretched to the limit.
Sure. I feel bad for them too. And like I said, I don't think they should have cancelled the games. I'm personally a bit pissed off about it, although my inconvenience is like 0.000001% that of other people, I am sure.

I very much doubt that any royalists have been involved in this decision

What relevance is Christian Eriksen to how a country respects the passing of its longest serving Monarch, in a 1200 year dynasty?

None, I think.
Lots, actually.

Those lads knew Eriksen. Some were his close friends. They trained and spoke with him every day, almost. They stood around him while he had defib units attached to him. They were then made to play on by UEFA, not knowing if he was alive or dead.

But out of a 'mark of respect' the entire English football calendar - from the Premier League right down to your local under-8s and under-9s teams - has been wiped out. Millions of peoples' weekends and lives put on hold, wages and work cancelled during a cost of living crisis.

Massively out of touch and not respectful at all.

The Palace aren’t involved in the decision other than when the funeral is.

We’re a free society so we should avoid mandatory closing of events.

The Premier League have shit the bed, it’s no one else’s fault.
