They're a soft lot.

This is the kind of thing spuds are posting about us, smash the arrogant bastards who will crumble like all spuds do if we score first.

Hopeful of a win today... But i wouldn't even care if we lose as long as we show up, work hard and play with passion. None of this wilting, head dropping bollocks of recent games. Would be nice to see G.Jesus as I think his tenacity will be infectious.

2-1

Jesus starts on the bench.

2 mins: Alderweireld scores
19 mins: Kane scores
43 mins: Eriksen scores a free-kick
45 mins: We get a player sent off for dissent

Jesus comes on at half-time.

48 mins: Jesus scores a header after a neat De Bruyne free-kick
69 mins: Aguero scores after a crazy deflection
80 mins: Jesus scores after a great run and chips it over Lloris
90 mins: Aguero heads in the winner

I just hope we stuff them. So badly.

But whenever I want us to stuff arrogant clubs (Everton last week) we seem to roll over and get battered.

Would be nice to force the media's words down their throats.

Please City.

If we go behind early the attackers will think 'oh no not again' heads will drop. Like dominos all this, attackers will get pissed off with chasing a game because of individual mistakes from defenders.

Nurse, this one has bad symptoms

Fucking hell theres no point in going now i know what the outcome is.

for me we've had more problems in attack that in defence. spurs also like to attack with fullbacks down the line rather than with wingers. so back 3 for me.

bravo

otamendi
stones
kompany

sterling
kdb
silva
fernando
sane

aguero
jesus

would drop yaya only because he doesn't press quickly. we could just not throw jesus into the mix and see the same old lack of penetration as before. feel it's really important for sterling to play right and sane to play left to create much needed width.

jesus would also provide pressing from the front which would mean either silva or kdb wouldn't have to push forwards out of position pressing their CBs.

come on city!

Please city today. Put your chances away play quick and defend solidly. The press pack have their stories written already let's shut the gits up with a cracking performance,

When was the last time Navas scored in the Prem? That cross/shot that started the Spurs mauling?
Pep will be desperate to get a win today, I hope Vinny plays, has a stormer, same for Aguero, wasn't long ago that he scared Spurs shitless, time for a reminder!

I don't know if it's the excitement or what, but I think he might line up like this...

-----------------------Bravo-------------------
--------otamendi--Kompany--Stones------
---------------Toure------Fernando---------
Sterling-------------KDB---------------Sane
----------Jesus--------------Aguero---------

And we'll f*cking slaughter them!

So hard to predict the team Guardiola will select today. Hope we go for it, attack is the best form of defence and all that. Need to start taking our chances though.

Can see Sane and Sterling playing to peg back their full backs. I also think 3 at the back could make a return. He needs to shake it up a bit so I see some surprises with the team sheet.

Little Caveat for today.

Assistant Referee Is Simon Offside Beck.

He's now officiated 3 of the last 4 games against spuds, and given dodgy offside decisions against us in all of them.

The press will have their vile stories at the ready for tomorrow. Neil Ashton planning a Pep and city attack on Sunday supplement.

We need to put in a performance today because serious questions will be raised if we get a mauling at home

Offside goals for Kane and Alli then! And maybe one wrongly ruled out from Jesus for good measure. We're always playing against the system as well as the opponent.
