Hope we take an early lead, because that is a team that would get absolutely murdered on the break if we have to try and chase the game. Not a massive fan of it, would have liked someone witha defensive bone in their body in midfield somewhere, but hopefully we can dominate the ball so much it doesn't matter
 
Looks like he's throwing down the gauntlet to the players with that selection. Get out there, impose yourselves, and make your quality count.

If we play with proper belief from the start - and if Otamendi and Kolarov are prepared to hold a high line - I'm sure we'll do ok. If not, we could be in trouble.

Won't be dull at any rate.
 
De bruyne will be the one to drop in with yaya as he has more shift in him than Silva to play that roll...For me kompany had to start but it is what it is...
 
Not unhappy to see an attacking lineup but as ever our full backs are a huge concern. Clichy was dire last week and Zabaleta doesn't have the legs.

Still c'mon City.
 
Has anyone considered if its 3-4-3?

Sane and Clichy wide. toure and silva in the middle. sterlinn and de bruyne tucked in.

or swap silva and kev in what ive juust said

Full backs will be a concern in every game until we replace them mate as none of them are of the required standard anymore.

Can see this being 5-4 to us looking at that side today

You didn't share it as a rumour but stated it as a fact when it is self evident you had no idea. You then went on to say what a boost to the team it was.

No little wonder that that annoyed a few people. Not far short of wumming which is against the coc.
