Great line up.. I reckon the full backs will cut in and play in the mid field and Sterling/ sane will provide width and pace.. in this set up De bRuyne might play further forward as well.. C'mon City!!!

Came to say the same but add into that our continual fullback disaster area, keeper who can't keeper and Kolarov, while I like him, is always on for a big mistake.

Would fucking love to be proven wrong but my confidence isn't high
If kolarov is at centre back I'm happy with that, hasn't done much wrong this season there

Unfortunately with a back 6 including Bravo, Clichy, Zabaleta, Kolarov and Toure. There is only going to be one result, unless every shot we hit flies into the top corner.

Could that line up be 3 at the back?

Zaba pushed into midfield. Sane and Sterling acting as wingbacks?

Probably not. Just saying like!

Not sure as I doubt we'd be willing to have Kolarov as our main centre back with Ota and Clichy either side.

Given that Yaya alone holding the fort in midfield seems slightly odd, I wonder if we're about to see a return to inverted fullbacks with Yaya dropping back.

It surely makes sense to loan Iheanacho out to a Premier League club next season. He won't develop here with Jesus and Aguero around. Loan him and then decide whether to sell or keep the season after, depending on how he develops.

Powerful attacking line up. Defensively there isn't an available configuration that would give me total confidence.

He doesn't fancy Nacho. He's not been great lately but to be fair I think Pep has taken his confidence away. Surprising really given his scoring record and the level of some of the senior players playing ahead of him.

I agree, although at this stage his development is still on a good trajectory. He's had a decent amount of minutes/responsibility, scored some good goals and important goals, been managed by Guardiola and learnt from Aguero. But I agree, next season should be looking to be the main man somewhere.

I reckon that's most likely. Could be three at the back though - worked well for 60 mins against Chelsea, and Spurs are playing with a similar shape at the moment, so wouldn't be surprising if he went that way again. Not sure it would work with Zaba and Toure, though.
