Can’t win. When Foden isn’t on the bench half the forum throws a paddy. When he’s on the bench then it’s a little thin.

I’d say no other team would have such a strong match day squad with Mendy, Kompany, Stones, Silva all out.

Real shame to be missing D. Silva, especially after such an incredible performance against Swansea. I've though Gundogan has been looking a bit stronger and sharper recently so hopefully he can have a decent game and keep building up his fitness.

Happy to see Aguero start. i felt he earnt that with his performance against Swansea.

If Fernandinho or Sane get booked so be it, but i wouldn't go looking for yellow cards. With a comfortable lead in the league we might as well take the EFL Cup seriously. After today if they end up suspended against Bournemouth, Newcastle, Crystal Palace or Watford we'll cope.

With David out, we need a big game from Kev today.
