Laporte is a top defender and cost a lot of money. We can’t just shun him from the team. If he performs well he should play

He made a reasonably small mistake against one of the league's best attackers against Spurs, but not much worse than what Dias did against Liverpool. The only difference was the mistake didn't cost us in the same way. Obviously Dias has a lot of goodwill in the bank, but I'm honestly a bit confused as to why Laporte doesn't in the same way among a small but vocal group of fans.
