Conte bleating about the weakening of the Spurs squad , which is effectively moaning about Levy, cant be good for Squad and team moral. City to Win 4-1.

At this stage of the competition when nothing is decided all teams are desperate to get a result. But do you want to play against a winning team or a losing team. I will take a losing side please.
 
Expect a hard game, they lost 3 in a row, perfect time for them to raise their game against us. Thats what they usually do anyway.

We need to keep out Son, he always performs against us.

Pool playing earlier on Saturday, clearly a win for them ripping up Norwich at home, so we need to react to that by beating Conte's brigade and let Levy eat the shit he got themselves into.

I want Kane to score an owngoal on top of all this. :)
 
Also why they couldnt schedule any of their postponed games to this week Tuesday/Wednesday?

Would have preferred them not to relax all week.

We owe them though. They were fortunate they played us in the first game of the season and even then we didn't deserve to lose.

I can't remember the last team to do the double over Pep in the league, so we'll win this.

I also think Laporte will play because, as good as Stones is, Eric hasn't done anything wrong to be dropped.

Agreed Son is the one weve got to watch he always seems to score against us,
We'll have to watch him on the counter attacks

He’s using the old reverse psychology. Saying they’ve got a 1% chance of champs league football. He’s hoping for a reaction. They’ll raise their game Saturday. They always do. They only roll over for the red shirts. We’ll just have to fuckin smash em!
 
We are playing Spuds at the right time , three defeats on the bounce and a defence that is possibly the worst in the league at the moment , i rate Conte as a manager but even he couldnt polish at turd as big as Spuds. Levy must be rueing the day he turned down our transfer bid because Kane's value has plummeted , we definitely dodged a bullet.

Laporte struggles against pace and against Spurs in the CL he had a mare that night. But to be fair to Aymeric he is playing really well at the moment.
 
We've had a bit of a rollercoaster against Spurs in recent times - some big wins, league doubles, etc ... but also some frustrating defeats, deflating VAR decisions, etc.
 
its always a game that can demand watching because of the unknown ? its got something special about the game
city vs spurs over the years has been the stand out game for many reasons good and bad.

i never like the spurs games because they are pretty much like us in the past years. they can turn up and play and i always get the feeling of a cup game city vs spurs ? they want to do us as much we want to do them. lets be honest here they have some good players that could get in our team.
 
Got no midweek game next week, players had a leisurely stroll in Lisbon on Tuesday night, absolutely no excuse to not rip it up with strongest 11 on Saturday.

Comfortable 3-1 for me.

Only change from 11 on Tuesday, for me, would be Stones moving into middle to replace Laporte with Kyle coming in at right back.
