We’ve played really well in the first halves recently but wasted chances and allowed teams back in to games.
Hopefully Haaland’s clinical today and the rest of the team can create a goal threat.

Disappointed that Nunes isn’t starting as he’d help us against the counterattack, although I think he may be carrying a bit of an injury.

We don’t have that much choice regarding the rest of the selections, but we should still have more than enough to win tonight.

Need to see Foden and particularly Bernardo stepping it up today, and hopefully Gundogan is getting up to speed a little given that he’s had the last two weeks training.
 
Will be interesting to see the postiions both Stones and Rico adopt....rico is better in the tight spaces in the middle of the park...stones is better defensively....

The only issue i have with Rico is that when he is up in the final third/edge of their box he doesnt have a killer instinct at all..he constantly gets into great goal scoring positions but he is indecisive and cant finish or make that final pass..........he has time to learn this but at present its one area/cause for concern that can often lead to teams breaking on us
 
Good that we nearly got our strongest CB's back barring Dias. The midfield is what it is considering the injuries. If we are in control hopefully we can give KDB a chance to get back into match sharpness.

Its Gundo that has been the worst performer this season so if its anyone we need returning to form its him....foden hasnt been good but Gundo has been down right awful
