Would someone kindly post again that clip of Gundogan bringing the ball down and turning in one movement to put a Spurs defender on his arse before scoring. From two or three years ago.
Even my Tottenham mate finds that comical. Plus, it's his birthday this week and he deserves a greeting.

Time for the likes of Grealish, Foden and Gundogan to step up and show there worth.

Foden has had a terrible season so far, he rightly took the plaudits last season, he was magnificent but those standards he set have dropped off the cliff, get back to that level Foden if you want to be classed as an elite player.

Grealish poor last season, missed the euros but came back firing after the summer but again has picked up injuries and lost momentum , time to get back on your game Jack.

Gundo got his wish and came back home, so far a disastrous situation, but he still should be contributing more that we have seen despite his age and the fact he is way past his peak.

KDB and Walker the end is nearly here but come on boys, one last push, one more title, leave as greats, leave with the crowd wanting more.
Did grealish really come back firing...think there was a lot of overhype cause he was putting in extra training....didnt translate much on the pitch however

Agree with the rest

Kev surely could have two weeks of intense fitness work though? Gundo could just sit and not have to run too much though mate but i get the Kova shout as well.
I dont think its just physical with him....

I dont think his heart is in it either from the bits we have seen so far....granted he could just be really fustrated witht he injury and it not being completely fixed but I thinkhe knows he cant play at the level he used to

Bloody awful kick off time, match will not finish until just before 7:30pm. Then the God’s awful Metrolink to contend with, I will be lucky if I get home before 9:30pm.

What happened to 3pm Saturday kick offs?
Each to their own but I love a Saturday 5.30 ko. More time on the piss pre match and still home at a decent time. It’s the 12.30 ko that I’m not a fan of. Atmosphere always seems to suffer for it.

And we’ve had 4 Saturday 3pm ko at home so far this season which is pretty decent these days! Another to come in early January with the West Ham game.

And you’ll miss Strictly;) on the plus side I’m glad this is at home had it been away I wouldn’t have fancied our chances, we could do with a good performance and win ahead of the trip to victim fc

I agree, but it's television who pays the piper and calls the tune, increasingly. If you calculate it, if it's a 12.30, 1 pm kick-off, I surmise it's aimed at the China market. If it's 5.30 pm + kick-off, it's aimed at the Americas, and especially North America. Those two areas are where the big bucks are, as far as the satellite companies are concerned.
I deplore it, but we, the match-going supporters, the people who get on trams, buses, into cars and (in my case) onto planes, and pay our money to go through the turnstiles, are less and less taken into account. We are the ones who create the atmosphere, and we saw what empty stadia meant for that during Covid. It was just dead. But there it is.
Ah well, if the 115 mean we get retrograded to the Championship, or even League One — a prospect the whole country seems to be salivating over — we'll be back to 3 pm kick-offs. So there will be at least one advantage. Whether our matches will be televised at all is, of course, a moot point.

Even though I dont like tem, Let's hope we are still having 12-30 and 17-30 kick off next season then !
