Yes, and what is more I can still recall the team (from memory)....
Brown
Baker Henry
Blanchflower Norman Mackay
Jones Greaves Smith White Dyson

How's that for remembering?

Even the team they had after that in the next generation included people who could play a bit — Jennings, Mullery, Venables, Gilzean, England. With Greavesy still up top, and Mackay still a stalwart, although coming to the end of his time. Not bad people to have in your side.
I saw most of that side (possibly all?) in 1967, in the first league match I ever attended.

Neither side is in good form, neither side can call upon their best creative talent, and neither side’s manager will change their attacking ethos. Should be an entertaining game.
One of the teams have lost their biggest goal threat.
If Diaz empties Son early doors i think we will win, but still a tough game.
So, I'm quietly confident

With the fear of jinxing this game , i think the way Spuds play , high pressing and looking to play positively all the time , although commendable , will be thier undoing on Sunday any team that doesnt park the bus will concede a few goals against us , and the way we are defending this season wouldnt be surprised if they scored a couple of goals , a seven goal thriller would warm the cockles 4-3 or 5-2 as long as it goes our way.
From boring , boring City , we are becoming the great entertainers.

I know we're going through a strange period, with inconsistent play due to key injuries and players not on form, but i think we'll win this comfortably.

This was usually a tough match up for us, but Kane has now gone and Maddison is injured, so we just have to concentrate on Son.
If we can stop the ball getting to him, or if it does, stop him, i'm not sure they have enough to trouble us.

3-1 to us.

Spurs lost Bentancur against Villa, in a quite nasty challenge by Cash, and thereafter lost any grip on the midfield they had enjoyed. Having watched Dias and Akanji expose our defence by getting too tight to Opanda, I’m not sure I want to see either of them go after Son.

Hopefully those two have learned lessons. Their sloppy defending almost cost us. Luckily the boys up front pulled them out of the soft stuff.
I can't see a lack of concentration from either of them on that scale again.
