They sellout every home game and I would think they have a bigger fan base than us not only in this country but worldwide. I could be wrong but thats my impression. It don't think it would take long for them to reach 50K+ crowds. The design is fantastic and looks like it will be one of the best in europe.

Yep - agree.
They have a bigger fan base than us and can match Arsenal's crowds.
The London area as a whole has a huge and growing population (North West pop is shrinking) and Spurs, Arsenal are the biggest clubs and can tap into that demographic.
They will fill it fairly easily I think.

they have quite a few thousand people on their season ticket waiting list

How long before it hits a reef?
Think the first reef will be the money... bet the costs will double.

It's about time they moved. I have to say that White Hart Lane is the ugliest of all the grounds I've visited in the country. Looks like a faceless factory from the outside, but then that fits in with the surrounding area which is a dump.

the logos on the roof look dead tacky. somebody else probably mentioned this but I couldn't be arsed scouring through 6 pages

They'll have to reduce their extortionate prices.

The ground will feature a single-tier stand, like the Kop at Anfield, and allow fans to be nearer the action than at other modern stadiums like Wembley.

my only bug bear with our stadium (apart form the fact it aint in moss side) is that the home fans are too far away from pitch side

Lots of people off here say that Shalke's the best ground they've visited.
Fuck me, it didn't matter where you were situated, you were miles from the pitch

So did we before we moved to COMS. But when it comes down to it, it's incredible the amount of people that back out.
