Spurs thread 2020/21

Spurs exist in a state where they can't get in the top 4 if City, Chelsea, Liverpool and United are functional.

So for Spurs to miss out on the CL in a season where Liverpool and Arsenal implode and Chelsea sack their manager in January really is criminal.

For West Ham and Everton to be the ones benefitting instead of Spurs is a disaster for them - these seasons are basically what they exist for.

That's Mourinho's biggest failure.

I hate them more than any club in world football. More than the rags, the dippers, the rent boys any of them.

It’s their self entitled and blinkered fan base, and belief the club is bigger than it is and deserves to be classed a top club.

For years, I have took the piss out of Spurs fans about them winning trophies when the year ends in one. Now we have to face them in a cup final in 2021. Ffs
We didn't do too badly in a big end of season game against them in 2010/11 did we?

My biggest fear for the LC Final is the affect our potential mid week CL semi 1st leg game will have on the outcome, if we make it that far of course. Pep could end up sending the EDS team out to play this one, especially if the CL game is on a Tuesday 2 days after the LCF.

I know what you are saying.

Same as 15/16 really. Everything opened up for them perfectly and then they lost out to Leicester City. And Arsenal, somehow.

We can have a giggle at their capitulation again. However these bastard, backed by a friendly match officials team will give us a game at Wembley.

I don't give these fucktards a second thought, they are irrelevant and as long as Levy is there will achieve nothing.

So after yet another tedious and uninspiring performance from a side managed by the eye-gouger, where does he go to after the inevitable parting of the ways from Levy and co? Is there a club anywhere in the world foolish enough to employ this sour, joyless has-been and his dreary, stagnant football, because if there is I can’t think of anyone.

His days in football MUST finally be over after that utter humiliation last night?
And he cannot claim his side were ‘beaten‘ because that would imply that they had a go, gave it their best effort - in short, they tried.

Except they didn’t.

From what I’ve seen Spurs were flat, disorganised, and lacked any sense of cohesion or direction: and that has to be down to Maureen and his ultra defensive tactics, confusing the players by making forwards play like centre backs.

Spurs will have to cut their losses and dispose of the poisonous Portuguese, but as I say, where could he possibly go? And who would want him?
