Spurs thread 2020/21

So many names being mentioned for this job, so many rejections by the same names, so many promises by Levy, so many disgruntled fans and ex players.
The managers who have been identified by this mediocre team and by the press is just laughable. Top, top managers have shunned them as expected and they are now having to resort to lower premier league team rejects such as Howe and even Sam Allerdyce ffs!
I recently mentioned, tongue in cheek, that Steve Mclaren is available and ready with his umbrella to take Spurs DOWN to the next level!
I just wonder what odds I could get for him taking over?

Why wouldn't a decent manager want to be the first winner of a new European trophy?
Surely the prospect of playing in the Europa Conference League will attract top names from across the globe.
 
Everybody in the World understands that we are still going through covid restrictions. Millions have been lost in revenues in all leagues in all countries. Anyone with half a brain can see this isn`t going to change anytime soon and it will be years until football gets back to how it was, if it ever does!
When a German club touts a player who was recently estimated to be worth over £100 mil tries to sell to the rags for £80 mil you just know it`s bad......
Then Levy decides he wants to sell Kane on a cash only basis for anything, as has been reported, between £150-200 million!
He can`t find a manager, and is most likely to end up with someone like Steve Mclaren, his fan base is both against him and the club and will leave in droves. His players are now wanting away and the club is almost in it`s death throws!
Like RM and Barca, this club is becoming a joke and bleeding money, fans and now players! Do I care?

And the root of all - well, most - of their financial problems is the new stadium.

If only the club’s owner could afford to pay for it himself, just like HRH did with the expansion of Etihad and the Academy.

Who has the money to buy Kane for 150 million? He's 28 with dodgy ankles. Of course Levy doesn't have to sell him but keeping an unhappy player against his will never really ends well. Kane shot himself in the foot by signing his latest deal. He should have had a release clause in it, he must have one shit agent
