Even @Magicpole might agree with that. They make Celtics search for a new manager look competent!!
Getting rid of those two and Dave Watson was absolute suicideI really enjoyed watching that.
Some brilliant goals. What a fantastic player Peter Barnes was, and it was criminal the way Big Mal just discarded him and Gary Owen.
Thanks for posting.
So he can feel right at home the season after next? They should look at championship managers they might be able to tempt one. The club has got nothing going for it apart from a new stadium
Fantastic team then, should have won far more cupsI really enjoyed watching that.

Nothing ever can make our search for a manager seem competent. Ever.Even @Magicpole might agree with that.

Imagine being that far down the line for the job? I’d tell them to fuck off.Back to Nuno again...

I just think the whole thing is hillarious!Back to Nuno again...

This is what happens when the chairman gets a rep for putting profit before the team. Can see Liverpool suffering like this when Klopp leaves. Have Arsenal already fallen foul of this?I just think the whole thing is hillarious!
After all the names, Nuno included, who have been talked about, interviewed and chased and those same managers making it clear it isn`t really a good job......
And then these numpties scream and shout they don`t want Nuno!
The list is growing ever smaller and they will end up with Steve Mclaren!
What's their problem with Nuno?Back to Nuno again...

I was there that day, November 1977, it was Graham Wilkins who was sent off, 2 yellows I think. Great performance from Barnes.I think we beat chelsea 6-2 about that time Barnes ripped their right fullback a new arsehole. The Fullback was terrorised so much he eventual got sent off for persistent fouling. It might have been Graham Wilkins who was Ray Wilkins brother.
It`s hard to remember seeing a player get destroy so badly.
