Spurs Thread - 2021/22

They have an incredible stadium, training ground and manager now and huge support. I think they will do well.
Might scrape top four in next couple of seasons. Will never win much of note while Levy and Lewis are in charge. Its all about making money for them.

I think Uniteds form is why Spurs have pulled the trigger.

Spurs' entire purpose is to hang around the top 4 and get in there if someone fucks up.

United have fucked up, but with Nuno doing badly, Spurs were facing the prospect that Arsenal or West Ham were going to take that 4th spot and they just can't afford to let that happen.

Arsenal back in the CL would be a disaster for Spurs for obvious reasons, and if West Ham get there, the financial reward and new bilkionaire owner could be enough for them to become a real long term rival in that 5th-7th spot.

As Mark Chapman put it on the Athletic podcast, they must be shit scared of becoming the 4th club in London.
