Spurs Thread - 2021/22

I've just watched the highlights of the Spuds/Wolves game... the Spurs defence was woeful. An absolutely shambolic display of ineptitude, clumsiness, and downright incompetence. Seriously, I wouldn't expect to see players at non-league level as bad as that.
Fair enough, I did only see the brief highlights, but unless Levy spends some serious money in the summer Spuds will be hurtling towards the relegation zone faster than Luke Shaw at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
Tanganga and Sanchez look like a poor man's Mangala and Mendy. The rest aren't much better either.

Be interesting to see how many fouls Tanganga is allowed to commit before getting a card ..............

If its anything like the first game of the season , he will be allowed to kick Sterling off the park and before even considering a booking he will get his captain Lloris to have a word and it will be handshakes all round between the ref and players.
Never seen anything like that before , he should have had a red card in the first thirty minutes but didnt even get booked ,hope Raheem has doubled up on his shin pads for Saturday

Rode their luck at times but fought for each other and were clinical. Problem Conte has is that that performance will buy him credit with the Spurs fans, but Burnley won’t attack them so freely midweek, so it might prove hard to build on today.
