Did they not back out of a Conte deal in the summer because he wanted to much cash.
Yes. But now it is reported that Conte will be paid £20m pa and has asked for well over £200m for new players.

Think it's £20m over the course of his 18 month contract, so around £13m pa. Still a lot though.
 
Ha ha so Levy has been screwed over, serve the obnoxious little twat right.

If they'd appointed him in June they'd be nailed on for 4th IMO, back in the CL.

Now he's playing catch up to Arsenal and West Ham and has no preseason or time to get his methods into the players.

Levy being cheap in the summer might cost him 9 figures.
 
The Premier League now has arguably the four best managers in the world in Guardiola, Conte, Klopp and Tuchel and United don't have any of them. There is a real possibility that they miss out on the Champions League places.
