Spurs Thread - 2021/22

said it after we lost to them that they'd go on to lose at burnley.

A shoddy side that will do well to even finish in europe this season. Nevertheless, they are still a professional football team, and with the way we set up and defended on saturday any side with pace up top was going to damage us.

As shit as Spurs are, he lacks any bottle if he walks.

Wouldn't ever want him here, another mard ass who loses it when the going gets tough.
Sometimes hitting your head against a brick wall is not fun.

Conte is a serial winner, Spurs are not and probably never will be.

He signed for 18 months on serious money, an offer he could not refuse and a offer than took the heat off Levy and Lewis, no one, fans apart could lose.

Have you ever seen Spurs win the league ??
There was only one trophy that I witnessed Spurs winning and it broke my heart and to be honest I am not sure I ever got over it and hence my hatred towards them......

I remember Spurs fans booing this guy in the first match because he had a mare, ironically he was man of the match in the replay, sums Spurs fans up perfectly...cnuts

So was I.
But I was only 5 at the time,so don't remember a thing about it!!
It was a month before my 4th birthday so I don't remember either.
But I had a bit of a soft spot for them as they won the double in 1961 and the press were still going on about it when I was getting into football in the couple of years leading up to the 1966 World Cup.

Bit embarrassing that they show up against us and nobody else. Don't think most of them are bothered unless they know there's going to be a big TV audience.

This is kind of Pep's only major weakness. It wouldn't have killed him to play a deeper line just as a one-off but he chose to risk it.
Pep has answered this question before saying that City will always play to their strengths. The argument being if you change too much for the opposition it’s not the way the team is trained and that overall staying to the plan will get you more points letting the opposition worry about you.

He might be correct he might wrong but my guess is he knows the team and the way they play better than us. So while we are looking at one game v Spurs he thinks about what is best for the whole season.
