Spurs Thread - 2021/22

Begging to be sacked at this point, kinda reminds me of his season with Chelsea.

He wants money and new players that he knows he's not going to get. Has a chairman who believes penny-pinching can get them to challenge for honors in the league, and all you need is a world-class coach to work miracles with your pitiful squad.

Pep has answered this question before saying that City will always play to their strengths. The argument being if you change too much for the opposition it’s not the way the team is trained and that overall staying to the plan will get you more points letting the opposition worry about you.
I hope someone close to him reminds the bald fraud about that statement next time we play in a CL final.

If he thought he was going to be bankrolled by Levy then a quick phone call to me would've told him that Spurs, alone among the top 6 clubs, only spend what they receive in player sales.

There was only one trophy that I witnessed Spurs winning and it broke my heart and to be honest I am not sure I ever got over it and hence my hatred towards them......

I remember Spurs fans booing this guy in the first match because he had a mare, ironically he was man of the match in the replay, sums Spurs fans up perfectly...cnuts
You've just put me off my breakfast with that picture. That's why I joined the Foreign Legion!

He might be correct he might wrong but my guess is he knows the team and the way they play better than us. So while we are looking at one game v Spurs he thinks about what is best for the whole season.
Might? No. He is absolutely correct. People always take these anomalies and draw too much from it.

It's irrational to expect us to change. And by the way, a high line didn't have anything to do with the 3rd goal. And that goal looked worse than the other 2.

I'm with Pep. We just messed up. Get up, dust your pants and get ready for a title race.

Have to admit, Chelsea did. CL final was the only game against Chelsea they deserved to win in the las 10 or so clashes.

It was the 1 time we weren't unlucky.
When we lose to Spurs people say Pep hasn’t thought enough.
When we lose against Chelsea he has over though the situation.

We are just used to winning all the time. Its not normal.
