I don't know. We can believe anything we like. I don't think it matters, Clearly City are and have been hugely successful. They are one of the big beasts of the jungle in English football. Along with Man U, Liverpool, Leeds, Everton, Arsenal, etc.

Definitely not Leeds. Look at their history, not as illustrious as it seems.

Doesn't matter whether a fan thinks a club is big or not. Its what you win that makes you feel good as a fan. That's what counts , you know it and I know it. A nice shiny new stadium is no substitute for winning things.

I simply don't agree with you that the sole purpose of football club is to win trophies. By that logic, all but a handful clubs are failures, "garbage" in your words. I think that a City fan coming out with that definition would make most fans, and I guess most City fans, uncomfortable.

You will have to educate me about the Spurs dodgy transfers and money laundering activities. I am not aware of them.

I remember every single time we played Spurs pre 2011, we would be mocked for "winning fuck all". One or two other chants too. A clear insinuation that our support and the club were worthless or not worthy of sharing a pitch with Spurs (yes, the last league title win in 1961 Spurs). No other fanbase at games would give us so much stick for being unsuccessful. Possibly the most arrogant fanbase I ever came across.

With a bit of introspection, it only right those fans feel worthless as their club has not won a trophy of any note for 32 years.

Supporting a successful football club is not for everyone. At least you can hide behind fake ffp and the moral outrage it seems to have caused in you. City have not broken any FFP regulation nor have we broken any Premier profit & sustainability rules like Everton. We also don’t plot with other clubs to actively try and destroy another club because we can’t compete on the field.

Ask your billionaire dodgy owner to put his hand in his pocket.

Levy wants City taking off the playing board, Pep called him out on this last February. Levy was also one of the clubs that signed a letter to CAS for them to hurry up their verdict in 2020 and his grubby hands are all over this attempt at destroying City. Can’t run his club like City do, he’s a chief conspirator.

He is without doubt a slimy little man who is more interested in making money than winning things. Early days as yet but it already looks as if Ange Postecoglou is way too good for Spurs under Levy, he has ambition and when he finds out in the next two transfer windows that Levy has none, he will be off to a club that will back his ambition. Chelsea or the rags are the most likely candidates imo.

Maybe. I don't know. I won't be surprised. If he was successful, it would give Spurs an advantage.

But I am sure he is not conspiring with the American owners of Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U, and Chelsea to promote their clubs at the expense of Spurs. That was the original accusation.

Spurs were one of the many Premier League clubs that pushed for the introduction of FFP. Your misplaced belief that Spurs will be Premier League champions any time soon won’t come to fruition.

Every time Spurs build an half decent team the likes of Bale, Madric, Walker, Kane fuck off to elsewhere to more successful clubs. How do Spurs break that chain? They have a billionaire in Joe Lewis, trouble is he can’t invest his money like Mansour and Abramovich did because of financial fair play. Spurs pushed for these measures and can never be successful because of it. Your owners are helping out the teams in red. I stand by point that it’s at the expense of Spurs, Everton and Newcastle did it as well. They are suffering in different ways to keep the old order in place of Liverpool and United. Surely you can see that?

It’s not the fact he supports a club that is unsuccessful. As city fans we have been there many times over but I wouldn’t be going on to a spurs forum telling their fans how to feel about their own club and throwing slander about. The jibe was more of an acknowledgment of his seemingly misguided information about city. He no doubt blames city for cheating and a reason why his own club is crap. So if he can’t take abit of shit thrown his way he shouldn’t be giving it out.

My abiding memory of many of our games back then was how bad they were. You were shit. We were shit. Now you are very good and we are very good. I like it
