It sounds as though he knew this was coming and has ringfenced Spurs beforehand. It might be a total coincidence though..

He’ll have moved all his assets and might declare bankruptcy. Seems to happen a lot in the US.

No idea of the equivalent laws in America but transfers of assets can be unwound if the purpose of it was to keep it out of the reach of debts.

He'll have other funds or assets that will be more easily sold than a football club so not sure it will have any impact on them.
