They'll get top 4 under this manager Maddison the one that got away a top player and he looks like he has stepped up

Not that I like Spurs one bit but I'd be happy if they pushed Liverpool, Arsenal and United this season.

I really don’t think you can blame Kane for how bad they were under Conte, it’s clear Postecoglu is the exact opposite and it’s his system that’s changed their fortune.

it is hilariously Spurs that they might just have found a manager worthy of Kane’s ambitions just as he’s left.

Also shows how Levy’s penny pinching refusal to sack Conte wasted some prime years of excellent players like Kane and Son.

I don’t think Kane would fit in his system.
 
Spurs are looking good tbh. They're playing some good stuff but also the team spirit is high. He's got them working harder. If like to see what they're like without maddison though.

I'm sure levy will somehow throw a spanner in the works and I hope he does because he doesn't deserve the success.

On his day he's unplayable.

Not particularly consistent though. Although he did have that season where he won a joint golden boot. But he seems to go off the boil for long periods of time. He would be one of the biggest and best superstars in football if he could be consistenly be doing what he does at his best

But then if my aunty had balls etc etc. The truth is there's a lot of players with all the talent, but the best players use it consistently

The thing with Kane is you're guaranteed a pretty steady level of consistency. Last season his scoring record was actually brilliant, just overshadowed by Haaland. And he's been very good for years now.

That's why Son for me isn't really on Kane's level. He certainly is on his best days but sometimes those days disappear for months at a time.
 
I'm still not convinced by Spurs. They look shaky at the back. Let's see how good they really are when they play us next Sunday.

Although to be fair they do have a habit of turning into peak 1970 Brazil when they play Man City for some reason.

Fuck sake, you are the best team in the world, getting beat by City won’t be the acid test, as no **** will beat you unless you don’t turn up. They will give you a better game than in previous games, but they won’t fucking beat you. You have noticed how good you are?

When did Arsenal become the best team in the world? Ffs the level of delusion is well and truly off the scale…or did you get mixed up thinking this was a city fan @Magicpole -:)
