Spurs Thread - 2023/24

This is the best spurs side for over a decade, they are athletic and well coached. Problem is the squad isn't deep enough, lose Madison or son for a month and that's that.
Shame the manager is a likeable bloke because I fucking hate spurs

You need to speak to your Arsenal chums (about getting giddy to early) they thought they could win the league as well, you can try and beat their record number of days topping the Premier league without winning it, we could have you a trophy made, there's more chance of the rags winning it than your lot.

Happy Tuesday. Coffee is tasting extra sweet this morning. I’m looking forward to watching the Champions of Europe in action later, are you? You make it sound like you’ve been within 9 points of us every season, I think you need a day off, snuggle down and watch premier league years or something.

As for getting six points from us it's possible, you've been stuffy enough to do so in the past in spite of being played off the park in almost every game. We still won the league though. Oh and now it's a point you have to make up on us so far.

The six point thing is not really true. Yes our record at the new place is awful but we often give them a good going over at home. Last season a classic example when we destroyed them despite giving them a two goal start.

This is the one which in terms of the race mattered least but I agree it was annoying the way they snatched at the end.

I have an inkling that City will break their duck at yours this season and you will have too many decent players missing at the Etihad on Dec 3rd.
 
Lots of passion and fight in them, but I'd have loved us to have played them with 9 men and that high line last night. Reckon we'd have scored double figures. Unless Emerson Royal is playing. In that case we'd have spent 20 minutes waiting for him to stop rolling around on the floor and conceded from about 6 free kicks that weren't even fouls.

Still not a fan of Spurs. Don't think I ever will be.

Sorry but it was ridiculous to do that, they are lucky it wasn’t City they were playing or it would have been utter carnage for them … Chelsea were totally inept and still managed 4

Hes got them playing good stuff and the they look great at the moment but last night, he fucked up royally..!! They could have sat a lot deeper and hit the chavs on the break and probably got something from the game..

Very similar feeling from that game as I got watching Arsenal completely implode at Old Trafford last season. Spurs in fairness have been very impressive so far this season, but that was their first bit of adversity and they crumbled like a soggy biscuit.
