Spurs Thread | 2025/26

Honestly his legs have completely gone. I was at reading v spurs game and I couldn’t believe how slow and sluggish he was. My brother is a spurs fan and he was crap last season apparently. Right time for him and spurs.

Credit to him for sticking with spurs and leaving on a huge high
I know mate he’s proper done a Gundogan but for 10-15 mins for a bit of magic he’s still got it.

Couldn't find a thread on Son Heung Min. Left Spuds after 10 years. I thought he was a wonderful player, probably my favourite non City player. His pass to Ortega to stop Arseholes winning the league a particular highlight

Yes I've just seen this a bit of a surprise I wonder where he will go a very good player very likable too.

It was mentioned in the 2025/26 Spurs thread.
You are right.
A great player for Spurs.

A move to Los Angeles makes sense, there's a big Korean population in that city.

he hasn't yet left he has however signalled this summer he is open to a move to the MLS which I am sure will come about though knowing Levy he will probably want £150m for him and scupper the deal .......so Spursey

He will definitely be leaving.
Spurs would like him to stay for the PSG match

wont miss Son...

what names they looking at? MGW, they missed out on him and told the market they have 60m ready to spend...

so far they got Kudus, who is a good buy, and finalized the option for M. Tel and Danso as well.

there was talk of Romero leaving them which would be a big hit.

new manager under pressure as the CL schedule will not be easy for them compared to shower of shit opponents in EL last year and obv big improvement is expected on their 16th place finish too. Frank used to have a bit of media love in for some reason, while Postecoglou got attacked a lot last season , but Postecoglou in his first season finished 5th actually.

Seriously? All he seems to do is kick people. He strikes me as a nasty tw@. "Ange" seemed unsure about him as well; he picked him in less than half Spurs' PL games (18) last season. 1 goal, no assists, 3 yellow cards, no red cards, amazingly! Kulusevski (granted, a different type of player) would be a far bigger hit if he was to leave.

He missed about 26 games last season with injury iirc. In all comps. I think he was out at one point for a spell of 3-4 months. May or may not have been when he did a cruyff turn attempt in his own box. So might have been a little hard to select him! aha

Edit. Went to check it so I don't look stupid!
According to transfermarket stats. 107 days and 27 games missed.

Fair enough; I stand corrected on my point about his appearances. I stand by my comments about his style of play, though.

I am in agreement. He is a world cup winning defender though. The kind of tw@ I don't mind in my team but i am shouting for him to be sent off every challenge when he is playing for the opposition!

I always said that Son at the Etihad, under Pep, would have been a phenomenal acquisition. Would have preferred him to Kane, quite frankly. No way that Levy would have sold, of course. He was terrific to watch, for some reason. Just his style.

If they were a bit better, or had a real attacking threat, I could see them beating PSG.

They are going to go into that game fully warmed up and ready after 4-5 friendlies. PSG will play in their first game for a month. Preperation matters.
