Spurs Thread | 2025/26

I would imagine there will be lots of laughter in our boardroom, if they go down.
I can hear Khaldoons end of season interview.

"For a team in transition we've had an amazing season. Pep is building another team to be proud of. My only disappointment is we gave Spurs 4 points. At least they still went down...Cunts!"

Do you really think Khaldoun would use the word, "Spurs"?

Also Simons appeared to avoid a card for simulation 2x

Agree but the shirt and jumping into the crowd is black and white. Both yellow offences.
So why didnt the ref follow the rules ? In theory it gives spuds an advantage over WHU and Forest as he is still available to play for spuds, when he shouldn't be plus Brighton would be against 10 men. The ref choosing not to enforce the rules could have a big impact as to who gets relegated.

Won 1 drawn 6 lost 11 of their last 18 league games , that's 9 points from a possible 54, 1 of which they got off us !

Two PL wins at home all season. They have two remaining home games left (L***s and Everton; not gimmes by any stretch of the imagination), so the most they can end up with is 4 home wins (wizard at maths, me!). For context, I looked up our glorious 2006/07 campaign. 10 goals in our 19 home games (a record low in the top flight) and, infamously, none after new year's day. We ended up winning 5 home PL games. Which really ought to tell you all you need to know re this Spurs team. I also think that it's not a ridiculous call to say that, judging by the respective standards in the two eras, Spurs have better players than we did.
