Remember him scoring two for England vs Scotland. Football on tv was a novelty back then. Sadly for him, the England team was heading into decline and he didn't play in a major tournament. RIP sir.

Chivers was the original long throw exponent. He'd have scored twice as many if he was on the end of his own throw-ins. Strong player. Must've been a nightmare to mark.
