Spurs Thread | 2025/26

as I understand it they have been champions of England twice in their history yet they consider themselves a big club? They are a massive advertising effort for tours around a nice stadium that happens to have a football team attached to it - why Frank ever left Brentford I dunno

Frank is a good manager and has done well with limited resources before. Spurs’ problems are deeper than the managers tactics. In fact Frank plays a relatively conservative football that should work for them.

Odd they wouldn't sack him in January. I like Frank, I think he's a good coach. Certainly Spurs is a poison chalice but he still needed to do better.

Wonder who they'd gun for now, maybe Marco Silva or Iraola?

That's the difference between being at a club with fairly low expectations and one that is expected to win (even though it is Spurs). Shows that Frank is not a top manager, something I've always said. Easier to stop other teams playing and nicking the odd win, much more difficult to create and break teams down.

Brentford haven't exactly flopped since he left as well as selling Wissa and The rag tubster
