Spurs Thread | 2025/26

I do think he has some mitigation on the injury front. He’s had to cope with long term losses of important players, short term injuries (like we all do), a nutcase, AKA Romero and also juggling the Champions League with the Premier schedule.

We turned to shite when Rodri was injured against the Tarquins in September 24, Spuds have lost, Maddison, Kudus, Kulusevski Richarlison, and Bentancur plus recent injuries to Udogie, Danso, Porro and Bergvall and Spence just made it back from injury last night.

That’s some injury list, doubt if any team copes with equivalent losses, think of us losing the equivalent and having to play the Leverkusen lineup, we may have coped better but who knows.
To be honest most of their injured players are not very good. It is essentially a Championship level squad. They have bought dross. West Ham have got a higher standard of dross.

Not sure we can judge Frank at Spurs. No manager has succeeded there.

They broke Conte mentally.
Agreed, dont think it's any indication he isnt a good manager, I suspect he'll get a new job before the season is out and rebuild some reputation but I still thought despite them being Spurs, he'd bring them some consistency and a steady improvement which obviously hasnt been the case. Hard to tell whether I overestimated Frank or underestimated Spurs' spursiness, perhaps both.

Let's hope the next guy gets a win against arsenal then loses every other game and gets them relegated. I'll be furious if Spurs end up staying up by upto a 4 point gap and knowing we could have essentially relegated them had we not shat the bed twice.

Frank to Palace in the summer?

We can but hope. They are up there with my intense dislike of the Red cartel Yankee clubs, Real Mardarses and Bayern. 1981 still sears into my memory. I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE for them to be relegated, how they are considered a top 6 club beggars belief...

Oh me too mate, me too, I despise them the most out of all the London clubs, I know the rivalry has intensified with Arsenal over recent years, but that's mainly Africans and Yanks on Twitter, who have never or ever will step foot in this country, same with Chelsea, but Spurs in the championship would almost be as satisfying as seeing the rags in there as well.

Like you say top 6 my arse, only turn up when they play us

There’s plenty of clubs that would like to have Kudos, Kulusevski, Maddison, Bergvall, Soence and possibly Udogie in their squads.
Perhaps ?
But how many of those players have played regularly, this season ?
Even Solanke and Richarlison, who I agree aren't elite players, have not played the majority of games.
Think Frank is a decent man and not a bad manager.
He has had bad luck in the availability of his best players...

Oh dear what a shame, how sad, etc. It would be terrible if they got beat so bad off the arses, that they were to be relegated, found guilty of false accounting and be liquidated!

If we can get our shit together, we don't need favours from these gobby cunts to beat arse to the title. On a personal note, I always find spurds fans to have an unfeasonably high opinion of themselves, backed up by precisely nothing. Grrrrrr .........
