Spurs Thread | 2025/26

Think the only question mark that surrounds Frank now is his ability to manage big egos in the dressing room, although he did it well with Ivan Toney.

I’m not sure he’d fit at West Ham, at least initially, as he doesn’t play the “West Ham way”. They seem to be warming to Nuno though…

The question remains indeed. One big egos one thing but a dressing room full of them quite another.

The disgraceful way Van der Ven and Spence behaved towards him when he was asking them to merely go round and clap the fans was symptomatic of his issues, but it's more down to them than him in my view. I would not want them at City based on that alone.

They made a mistake thinking they’d made it to the top tier of clubs by fluking their way past us to a CL final and sacking Pochettino.

Getting Spurs top 4 and to a CL final is as big an achievement as someone doing that with Everton or Newcastle, yet they sacked the bloke who led them there.

Spurs can’t judge their status on beating us, they need to look at the bigger picture of regularly losing to the likes of Brentford and Palace, and always ending up having to sell their best players, from Sheringham to Bale and Modric to Kane.

Medium club with an over-engineered stadium and bitter, entitled supporters still living off 1961 and 1981.

Didn't bother the GPC if he lost us until we won the league.

The new manager will have their work cut out bearing in mind they have 12 players out injured right now and have had this number out for most of the season. Same problem for big Ange too last season. Either Spurs are unlucky with injuries or their physios need sacking. Maybe they've sacked the wrong person. LOL

Ange put something in their empty trophy cabinet. Maybe a mistake to give him the flick.
I'm pleased they're still shit.

Difficult to see who they can get in as a replacement to turn things round, seems to be a lack of viable candidates at the moment. Think they’ll probably avoid the drop (sadly) but they’re in a real mess.

Wasn‘t there talk of De Zerbi just before Christmas? Seems the obvious candidate now.
