Spurs Thread | 2025/26

FOYS are in deep trouble.

I wouldn’t say they are certainties for relegation, but they must be among the favourites.
Wolves have got to play all the bottom teams - except Burnley - and they're the form team! Loads of 6 pointers. So it could well be "Bye bye Spurs - fuck off! And then when you get there fuck off some more."

Hated since ''81. Cunts.

Should never have sacked the bloke who won them trophy

Could be the biggest wet dream ever for Arsenal.

Just watched the highlights and they've even got a better (and earlier) fire drill than we have.
On another matter: Are any of those still crying about 1981 the same City fans who go on about how wonderful Sunderland fans were after we relegated them in 1991 and beat the in the 2014 League Cup final? Talking about the team, Spurs fans were arses before and after both games in 81.

Liverpool A
Nottingham Forest H
Sunderland A
Brighton H
Wolves A
Aston Villa A
Leeds H
Chelsea A
Everton H

Being realistic, the way they are playing they won't win any of those games?

Who are they actually going to get wins against...
I recall City playing Fulham at home years ago, which if they had lost, would have resulted in them being relegated. We went 2-0 up and I remember thinking at the time if I was a Fulham fan I would be absolutely livid with such a limp, passionless display from their players.

They came out for the 2nd half, put in a peformance, won the game 3-2, and staved off relegation by winning every game for the rest of the season.

Im not saying Spurs are up for the fight, they were dreadful tonight, but it can be done, and Fulham were rooted at the bottom of the league at the start of their escape, not hovering just above the relegation zone like Spurs currently occupy.

I would find it funny if they did get relegated though.

The guy they sacked took them to the heady heights of 17th in the league

Would be fucking glorious they way that twat Levy has behaved against our club.

Watched the 1st half. Palace's disallowed goal was offside by a nose, absolute disgrace. After the sending off and penalty, Palace scored two terrific goals and are probably safe! The Prem will be desperate to keep Spurs in 'the prem', but unlike United who have a modicum of ability, it's very hard to influence games if you don't get forward/in the opposition box. Fear the worst for Spurs and it will be very funny if it happens. Pitching up (excuse the pun) at the likes of Preston, Lincoln and Cardiff (if the latter two are promoted) will be a massive culture shock for them!

West Ham and Wolves have only lost one of their last five. Spurs have lost all five of the previous five.

With Liverpool away then Forest at home, could be a difficult one for them. Also play Leeds at home towards the end of the season.

Clearly made the wrong choices at the wrong times, and all hope now relies on them getting a result and finding some momentum. Too big to go down, yeah right.

I don't know whether it's modern football and fairweather fans, but I know for sure when we went down we weren't leaving the stadium after an hour. Would be a huge culture shock for them, every team would raise their game for the occasion.

Tudor won't be there regardless I imagine. He might not even last until April. There is technically still a world where they're champions league winners, plus in the champions league next year, whilst playing championship football. A very far away world, but nevertheless still alive for now...

Just to highlight how bad their form has been since around October time:

After 7 games Spurs had 14 points - W4 D2 L1
After 7 games we had 13 points - W4 D1 L2

Since then they’ve picked up 15 points in 22 games

And to think - Thomas Frank was saying they were capable of beating any team in the world after coming within minutes of lifting the UEFA Super Cup in August

True, and I’d expect Spurs to scrape a few wins from somewhere which should be enough to stay up but the only reason why they’re not deep in the relegation zone is because of their early season form. 15 points from their last 22 games is prime relegation form so they’re going to have to improve on that to stay up.

As for that Fulham game, as I recall they only started playing in the last 20 minutes. Before that, we were looking as comfortable as ever but once Fulham pulled a goal back the tables turned completely and as you say it gave Fulham the springboard for a great escape.

It’s also worth noting that West Ham went down in 2003 with what was arguably a better team than this Spurs side.
