Spurs Thread | 2025/26

Wrong. By staying single she kept power in her own hands and did a very good job of using it.
I suppose that depends who she had married but it was the end of the Tudor dynasty. The Tudor dynasty did last a little longer than 4 games of football though, so not bad in comparison.

They need at least 9 points to stay up and looking at them fixtures there in for a struggle
Yes; the players want out. I don't think the West Ham/Forest players are in that mindset. On another note some mates of mine meet up with The Ointment for a pint.

What a fucking mess Spurs are in.

Six consecutive defeats for the first time in their history, and a head coach, who seemingly has no relationship with his playing staff.

Tudor was a bizarre appointment. Didn’t no one else want the job, or is the Spurs hierarchy trying to do things on the cheap?

Whatever is going on behind the scenes, at this rate, Spurs are free falling towards the Football League.

And that would be almost as delightful as the rags going down.
This sounds like a job For Ten Hagg or Ruben

If they go down all those clubs in that league will be relishing playing them! Well at least top 8 now is the playoffs

Apologies if I saw it on here, but he’ll have the shortest reign of a Tudor since Lady Jane Grey…
Truly do not understand the criticism these deluded Spurs fans are throwing at this guy. He clearly understands Tottenham through and through and has immediately implemented a strategy delivering their tradition of getting battered everywhere they go. There is no pleasing some people.

Not everywhere they go though, is it?

It amazes me how that team can be so bad and have a real probability of going down. I'm not saying their players are world beaters but most would get into higher teams in the PL at least.

In some ways they remind me of a "modern City" in that they've picked the wrong manager too often for too long. They've spent a lot of money and bought a lot of players and they don't know who their best team is. The team is too good to go down until it isn't and if they do go down, every player will leave as he needs to play in the CL.

Worst still, they didn't recognise that Frank - who had done an amazing job at Brentford - wasn't the problem, the players were. The board have no idea about who should manage them or how they want to play. Frank was a great appointment and should've been backed - he's not the o lying manager to find that squad isn't good enough and he won't be the last either.

Tudor will be gone soon and I suspect they will bring Pochettino in. They are looking backwards and I don't think he's the manager he was. They will enough games to stay up but that squad is the problem.
