Erased from memory until nowFirst thing I thought of when I heard he'd been hauled off at 3-0.
Saw the highlights and goals one and three made Our Martyn look positively brilliant.

Of course they should be in the Champions League. The winners of the Europa League qualify for the Champions League every season. Do you think it should be left to April/May and then the rules changed because the finalists are doing particularly well in their domestic league? They should never have been in the Champions league in the first place. There were much more deserving teams than the winners of that spurs / rags final.
Having just avoided relegation, they should just have concentrated on the PL and nothing else.
The rags have moved up the table, solely on the benefits in having no CL and no domestic cup commitments.
I don't think any winner of that competition should qualify for champions league.Of course they should be in the Champions League. Makes the Title “Champions League” a misnomer though doesn’t it, along with the fact you don’t have to be champions to qualify dilutes the integrity of this money making sham.Of course they should be in the Champions League. Behave, they'll still be one of the 'Big 6' next season. So sad to see the demise of such a “ big club” as Spurs hahahahahahaha

It should not be a stepping stone to another competition.
Of course. But I'm not disputing any of that. I'm saying that the rule is that the Europa League winners qualify for the next season's Champions League, Tottenham won it last year, so under the rules, of course they should be in it.Makes the Title “Champions League” a misnomer though doesn’t it, along with the fact you don’t have to be champions to qualify dilutes the integrity of this money making sham.
No, but they do. So it's the rule you have a problem with rather than the rule applying to Tottenham.I don't think any winner of that competition should qualify for champions league.

Yes, the rule itself. No, but they do. So it's the rule you have a problem with rather than the rule applying to Tottenham.
West Ham and Forest are both betterSadly there’s not much chance Spurs will go down. Unfortunately Wolves, Burnley, Forest and West Ham are even more shit.
The bastards will escape again, get a half-decent manager and end up mid table next season, probably taking at least 4 points off us yet again.
Both of these are showing signs of improvement - thought forest were unlucky against Liverpool the other week - just lack a forward, West Ham are used to the battle so hopefully will edge past spurs but agree are a better side. I am fairly confident Spurs will go.West Ham and Forest are both better
Can't believe the fucking media hysteria about it. He deserved to be hooked. He probably could have met him when he came off and said - had to do it son. However when I seen some of the headlights I thought he'd hooked him and gave him his P45 on the way off.The manager is a **** but you can’t plan for shocking errors like the keeper made last night. He probably is a half decent keeper but made a career full of mistakes in fifteen minutes, still nice to see these wankers struggling
What???!!!Yes, the rule itself.
Puts teams under extra pressure for a competition that they are not really geared up for.
Cheers. I remember them beating Bristol Rovers 9-0 and thought they'd had had lots of other good results during the season. They didn’t though, they failed to win 22 of their 42 games, and only sneaked 3rd place on goal difference from Brighton.
Correct. Winning it should get them another go at the same competition the following season as the ECWC used to do.I don't think any winner of that competition should qualify for champions league.
It should not be a stepping stone to another competition.
