Spurs Thread | 2025/26

Makes the Title “Champions League” a misnomer though doesn’t it, along with the fact you don’t have to be champions to qualify dilutes the integrity of this money making sham.
Well the winner of the EL is arguably more of a “champion” than a team that doesn’t win their domestic league. Agreed though that the CL should be rebranded as it’s a farce

Jeez, I've witnessed some rough games and seasons following City but who'd be Spurs fan these days.
Losing 5-2 in the last 16 against Atletico Madrid hardly compares to losing at York City in the third tier to be honest.

There'll be Spurs fans who got into football around the 60s and would have seen a fantastic Haringey side, and they can only be shaking their heads and wondering - "Are we gonna do a City and slip into the abyss and only come out when we've lost to York!"

That would be an abyss, as York aren’t even in the fourth tier at present, never mind the third.

Sadly there’s not much chance Spurs will go down. Unfortunately Wolves, Burnley, Forest and West Ham are even more shit.

The bastards will escape again, get a half-decent manager and end up mid table next season, probably taking at least 4 points off us yet again.
Normally I'd agree but seeing as though we'll probably shit the bed tomorrow night then I think Spurs are in big trouble

Now he has got Cheltenham out of the way give it Redknapp - the omens are all there -- his nag ran out
