I'd take VDV, he's rapid and would suit our high defensive line as a Stones/Ake replacement in the squad.

West Ham are ticking along nicely and have the best manager down there.

Forest have just got Chris Wood back and have Gibbs-White and Anderson in midfield, who are surely too good to go down.

I genuinely think unless De Zerbi has a significant instant impact they could be bang in trouble. Sunday is going to be huge.

Probably but their fixtures are pretty grim as well. Chelsea and Villa away. Brighton and Everton in decent form. Sunderland away - ouch. Then they have to go and play Leeds which is a 6-pointer.

Even the Wolves game which should be a gimme is away, and they recently took points off Liverpool and Arsenal at theirs...

VDV is rapid but error-strewn plus injury prone. Spurs player to a tee. Avoid like the plague.

For all VDV's pace, and ability, he makes too many errors, is very injury prone, and has shown a bad attitude at times this season so it's a no from me. His critics, however, are less kind.

A player called ‘John Thomas’ scored the opener in the 2nd Leg, old Sinny Bank was rocking.
