Midfielders available: Lennon, Palacios, Jenas, VDV, Kranjcar, Pienaar, Sandro
Players missing: Dawson (susp 1 game), King (groin surgery), Kaboul (knee surgery 4 wks), Modric (appendix, 10 days), Huddlestone (ankle, 6 weeks), Bale (back injury, in training & available this week-end)....
Blackburn (a), Bolton (h), Sunderland (a), Blackpool (a), WBA (h), Wolves (a), West Ham (h), Blackpool (h) next 8 PL games + AC Milan (away /home).......
This time last year we were 6th, 1 pt behind City and Pool and we had played 2 games more than both..... long long long way to go yet.....

A year ago you were 4th, a point ahead of Liverpool and City, having played the same number of games as the scousers and 2 more than City.

Modric now out for 2 weeks which is a big loss to them

A year ago you were 4th, a point ahead of Liverpool and City, having played the same number of games as the scousers and 2 more than City.

My personal feeling is that tomorrow is a very big game for us. If we get a win and spurs don't, then I think we'll be ok for at least fourth come the end of the season. If we don't win and spurs do, then I think things run the risk of getting a little hairy
They've got Bassong and Gallas with Woodgate in reserve

You know what, thats about right. We seem to get a full team or close to it whenever we play you.
What i class as the bigger,important players seem to play. Such as King,Dawson,Bale,Lennon,Modric,Huddlestone. I think we even had useful players like Defoe,Crouch,Kaboul,Gomes all fit as well.
If we are missing some or most of those players against Milan in the CL then i dont think we will have much chance at all.
King,Huddlestone,Kaboul and maybe Modric are all out for that game already.
We will start as big underdogs thats for sure.
