After a second look it is a penalty. The defender clips Dzeko's trailing leg before touching the ball.

I saw the situation twice before I bothered to look at the trailing leg. Probably an easy thing to miss.

It's not just the leg. If you look at the clip below, you'll see the view from the other (linesmans) side.
Rose has hold of Dzeko's arm during the tackle :-

Its all good and well the meeja and pundits waxing lyrical about should it/shouldnt it and watching replays at 100th of the speed for fucks sake but it you watch it back at full speed in real time just like the lino saw it, stonewall penalty. The ref had no other choice.

Silva was majestic with his passing and movement
Zabba has incredible fitness and worked brilliantly with Navas.
Clichy had a good game going forward.
Demichellis looked comfortable in midfield
Ferdandinho was the midfield general.
Jovetic looks like he's going to be a great player
Dzeko's finishing was off but his link up play was good

All in all a stunning result that will worry our rivals.

The first half was some of the best football I've seen ,fucking unbelievable. Had a fiver on Aguero for first goal,done a bottle of wine in, absolutely buzzin'.

Seen the Chelsea result and thought fuck it,I'm bobbing out for a bottle of Prosecco,got round the corner,felt a fart coming on,forced it a little and for the first time since I was 12 I've shit meself. Right down the back of me leg .Had no choice but to carry on to the shop , confidence rocked.

Very much an evening of two halves for me.
