Spurs are just further down the line. Poch has been there for a couple of years drilling their revolution... we've only just started ours.
Yes he is and he can kick a ball with his right foot as he is naturally right footed, two goals in two games Kolarov has cost us, that is rubbishClichy is no better than Kolarov, don't you think so? And Garcia would be raped, I'm afraid. There's a reason why all youngsters are eased into the team so patiently.
The whole team struggled, no reason to bash single players, IMHO.
As I said, "Unfortunately, barring transfers, I don't know how Pep is going to fix this".
Clichy is an average left back imho - OK(ish) defensively and utterly useless going forward. Sagna, pretty much the same. And they are comfortably the best we've got, i.e. desperately needs strengthening.
Uh... what? This. It seemed a little odd to me that Pep went out of his way to get Bravo when the FB situation was in much more dire need of upgrading. Spurs played a great game today and look like genuine title contenders but not sure if they are really that good or we (FB in particular) made them look that good.
Pretty much spot on from one of my favorite players... who, nonetheless, is in the twilight of his career, now incapable of world-class performances on the pitch.Zaba: "It's a wake-up call for who we are and where we are, when you play well and win all the games, people talk too much."
Zaba: "We got what we deserved. They were the better team and we have to recognise that. We tried our best but they were the better team."
Zaba: "We are human and cannot play well every game. There are always teams that can play better than you and that happened."
i agree but what about this season...how do we get around those obvious problems of those 4 not being good enough this season. Its not as thought its actually ground breaking revelation as everyone knew that those 4 together would not be good enough...once the injuries, suspensions start hitting we all knew that we would drop down a level....Pep has to adapt to having players who cannot play his way...the big question is will he? like you said none of these players are going to get any better at what they need to get better at...so when we lose silva or KDB or fernandishnio especially and we are playing teams like liverpool spurs arsenal everton who will run their balls off and press like today ...how do we go about changing this cause if we don't there will be more performances and results like today and it will come down to these games who wins the league....are we to expect a season of transition or should we be expecting to win the league...genuine question as I really don't know what to expect from this season
Ditto mate. Can't stand them.Funnily enough I think my dislike goes back to that year too
