With the players we have dunno what we could have done different to get through that defence. More support in the centre from the start maybe (aka no Fernando). They just seemed to want it more and played better.
Fair dues to spurs and pochettino, they were superb. Not at our best but we were unlucky as well, Lloris made some superb saves and we really had them under the cosh at several points. Really starting to like Bravo and Stones. Fuck it, let's put it behind us and move on.
Negative: Too many players ball watching and downright lazy off the ball.
Would have been interesting to have seen what would have happened had we scored. But, if you need to take that many touches before shooting, we'll never know.
Can't we just admit that some times we lose because the opposition was better. Pep will have learned a lot ... neither full back good enough and the likes of Fernando and navas need to be moved on
Flat as a pancake today. They looked like their legs weren't ready for a game after Wednesday; look who our best player was - Stones and he didn't start at Celtic.
Even so some very average performances. Fernando contributed absolutely nowt and is a player who won't be here much longer under Guardiola. Navas was poor. Sterling struggled. Fernandinho wasn't himself. Kun is out of form. Kolarov was poor.
But I'm not worried because of the coach we have and a good thing is he'll have learnt more about the players today than he had from the ten wins.
