Am i right in thinking that once the season has started you are unable to change squad numbers?? With this flury of transfer activity today, i was curious as to who would have what number........

Also, it seems we dont have many numbers left - 32, 34, 37, 38, 39.................

I have been led to believe that De Jong will be number 31 and Bellamy number 32.
Does anybody know if this is correct or have I been informed incorrectly?

Clayton is 31 so I can't see that as he's just beginning to break through so I can't see that, Bellamy might be 32 though as Vidal who currently holds that number has gone out on loan to Aberdeen. I might be wrong though so I guess we'll just have to wait for an official announcement.

12, 20, 24 and 26 look like they might be up for grabs soon and 13's available (I'd have it, great number... A Prime, a Wilson Prime, a Mersenne Prime and a Fibonacci amongst having many special proprties, makes it a fundamental and natural number, forget being unlucky, it has more good luck associated with it than bad http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/13_(number)).

Also, for how long is Danny Mills going to hang on to No18?

They may also be given temporary ones while others that they would like become available...?

Give de jong 6 johnson doesnt want it. 12 vassel and 18 mills should also be availible.

Realistically, who's gonna want Vassell or Mills?
The young keeper(Richard Martin) is number 13.
Maybe 24 and 26 yeah as apparently Celtic and Sheff Utd are after Ched and hopefully FatSam will take TBH. Think Caicedo will stay though to be honest. Has made more of an impact than Benjani at any point this season.
