I think mario prefers 45 but the teams were only aloud up to 23 in the euros because mario gomez wears 33 for bayern but had to wear 23 for germany

I agree something along those lines. Called me old fashioned but I'm not into all this 45, 42 business. Joe Hart 1, Micah 2, Clichy 3, Lescott 4, Vinnie 5, Barry, 6, Dave 7, Yaya 8, Mario 9, Kun 10, Nasri 11, that's how it's done! And yes I know it's a squad game these days, best players best numbers

I quite like the high numbers, it can be a very 'City' thing if we're the only ones that really do it (to this extent). Can't think of many other squads who have their key players as 42, 45, 25, 21, 16, 18 etc. Why not embrace it?
