If the PL do this this they will bloody stupid when CAS overturn the original ruling. PL would open a huge can of worms if they did this. Things such as Leicester failure to comply with FFP, dippers and their hacking, VAR, etc

Presumably this is bollocks at the moment. The PL FFP rules are different to the UEFA rules so they would have to go through a new process to find us guilty of breaking their rules.
