i just saw that interview, and he never said he wouldnt spend big?

he just said he needs to sign the right players, from where im sitting he needs at least three.

we need more than 3, IF we get in to the CL we need at least 5 good players

It is possible to take things too far, though. Too many cooks and all that.

Bobby said "we must get a player that we need, if we are able to not spend a lot of money it's better."

So he's saying the first priority is to get the players that we need.

He also denies the reports saying he was going back to Italy next season.

Probably meant he was looking to get players in before the WC and avoid the astronomical fees if a player has a good tournament but couldn't get it across due to his limited English. If we get fourth, we will spend BIG.
