ST for 27 years. Question.

I have been a proud Season Ticket holder for 27 years but over the last few have struggled to get to all games due to work and financial commitments. The impending birth of my second child has forced my hand to finally accept that I can't renew for next year (nothing to do with a 6% price increase).
My question is this though: I have over 4000 loyalty points and want to know if I can convert this to a Citycard in the hope that in a few years time I can once again get a season ticket. If this isn't the case and I buy a City card, do I start off on zero points?

The points will go onto a Citycard so you won't lose them.

You keep your points, bar the one-off 1000 point bonus for having a season card if you got it.

Sorry to hear that you won't be able to afford a season ticket next year. Why don't you email the club and ask them at mcfc@mcfc.co.uk they are always very helpful and, even if they don't reply immediately do get back to you.

Also that is a definitive answer rather than guess work from people on here. ;-)

Cheers lads; would be gutted to think that those thousands of pounds I've spent over the years would be wasted and I'd go to the bottom of the queue for all those cup finals we are about to get to!

Once my children started getting invited to parties every Saturday , she gave the Season ticket up as she put the kids first(i know, weird) She retained the points on a City card or Access card, whichever was cheaper but she goes behind a season ticket holder of one year in the queue for any ticket even if they have less points than her.
Loyalty points should mean that - reward loyalty over your time being a blue, not whether you can afford a season card now.

I had to have 'a season out' when I lost my job a few seasons back and went from ST to access card or members card as it was, and I'm sure that I lost 50% of my loyalty points.......

Unfortunately, you'll still be behind every single season ticket holder no matter how many points they have.
