St Pauli,Hamburg ( no City content as such )

to be fair to King of the Kippax .... due to their 'friendship' with Celtic I think we might be on their hit list as well.

how many did City take over for the cup tie and where was the trouble at both games?

Didn't see any trouble at the UEFA Cup match at all, was an excellent day apart from the result. We took about 2,800.

I've been a few times, with and without City. Had the pleasure (and it was) of going to St Pauli v Hamburg B team at the end of the 2006/7 season, so stood with the locals.

They were weird as hell (big 'taches, lots of leather and chains) but superb - really friendly, and just what I've now come to expect from more recent trips.

As for the friendly game under Keegan where it kicked off, yes it was with St Pauli, and yes it was their idiots who started it. But doesn't every club have its idiots?

Go and enjoy it, sure you'll have a ball.

I went to the pre season 2002 and had a great time until about 11.30 pm when a load of st'pauli fans turned up at the bottom of the square, some of these fans had bats etc,but were soon sent packing by a large number of city & hamburg fans armed with parasols and chairs,i watched all this from the comfort of a bar in the square.

its a bit strange to say the least .. we are playing 4 games with St Pauli and Aachen being the biggest teams, there is bound to be a scuffle or two but just as long as it doesnt kick off big time it should be ok

either flying straight there with BA or to Bremen with Ryanair .. have you got the bus or train from there before?

Have a look round this site <a class="postlink" href="http://stpaulifansuk.forumup.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://stpaulifansuk.forumup.co.uk/</a> loads of fans from the uk go to watch them.
You wont get any trouble if you dont want it,
