I’m staggered that Leeds are going for the option of opting for 2 new stands rather than a rebuild, especially when the two new stands are virtually a copy and paste of Liverpools news stands.Three promotions and largely the same fans going now as before in an old ‘football ground’ rather than a new ‘football stadium’. Their dans haven’t been spoiled by 15 years of success.
If only a certain person hadn’t ‘bought’ all the pubs within easy walking distance to the ground and run them into the ground.
I just think that if they establish themselves in the Premier League, they will easily out grow it.
Leeds could turn it into a good venue for other events for Yorkshire to be honest.
This just seems like a ‘This will do for the next 10 years time’ option rather than looking 30-40-50 years down the line. I think the same with Anfield as well, I honestly don’t think it will be long before they itch to move into Stanley Park again.
Even you have had what, 3 extensions to the Etihad now? That’s on a 25 year old stadium.
