Stadium Developments thread

I can’t scroll past the first tweet as I’m no longer on Twitter. Anyway, despite them wanting a 100k capacity stadium, I honestly think they will end up with a generic bowl stadium that looks no different to Atletico Madrids stadium, the Stad De Luz, or the Emirates.
The $64,000 question is…….who will pay for it?

They will go the low budget option

Aren't these stadia meant to bounce instead of being rigid because it'll snap to bits?

I wouldn't fancy being underneath it lol. Some of those Argie stadiums seem to be the same way. I can't remember if Boca or River Plate had one similar too for the big boys

We have just had a fan event at our fan park, and online. The whole board were there. They were discussing the stadium, without going into too much detail, they were saying we have 2 options, stay at SJP with an expansion, or move to a new stadium (close by) with a much bigger capacity, and better facilities. They ended up taking an unofficial vote, and the fans overwhelmingly voted for a new stadium.
It is in stark contrast to a survey they done 18 months ago, and it is also the first time they have publicly discussed it with fans.
Sad if you lose the iconic SJP name as the new AntnDecihad will be so close by

Crystal Palace new main stand.
